“HE HAS HAD A LASTING IMPACT ON THE CULTURE OF CORTENO GOLGI”
You might be wondering why Golgi is such a big deal to the Cortense community. Well, he was born just a few metres away from where the museum is situated, on the 7th of July 1843. The museum was created to pay homage to their fellow citizen, for his outstanding contribution to the world of science. For it was his discoveries that made him the primary contributor to the cure of life-threatening disease Malaria. He has had a lasting impact on the Culture of Corteno Golgi.
