“EMBARK ON NATURES JOURNEY”

Husky Land was founded back in 1985 - by Armen Khatchikan, the man who also founded the first-ever European dog school. Since opening, Husky Land has been a great success - making it a point of reference for both national and international initiatives concerning dog sledding. It’s a great year-round activity, as you can spend some time with some furry friends and embark on natures journey! Located just a 45-minute drive away from Albergo Miramonti, it’s the perfect activity for all our guests - particularly if you are looking for some family entertainment. There are several different activities that you can partake in, with different levels of difficulty too. Just make sure you bring along some thermals and waterproof clothing.

Each excursion must be booked prior to your visit to Husky Land - head over to the Huskyland Scuola Sleddog site for more information.

  • SLEDDOG APPROACH - this experience is an introductory outing that lasts for an hour, whereby you are given the opportunity to ride the sled and guide the dogs - under the guidance of our instructors. Once the excursion is completed, you shall return to the kennels and meet all the other friendly dogs. This experience is perfect for kids.

  • SLEDDOG BASE - during this experience, you’ll again be able to guide the dogs under our instructor’s supervision. Upon return to the kennel, you will be able to greet the other dogs. The difference being this lasts for an hour and a half. This is a better choice for those over the age of 10.

  • ADVANCED SLEDDOG - the advanced course will teach you more technical moves and get you ready for a more challenging excursion. You’ll learn how to harness and lead a team of dogs - giving you all the skills you need for a longer excursion. It’s a great choice for active individuals. This course lasts for 2 and a half hours.

HIKING

You can even take the dogs for a hike around the area of Ponte di Legno and Passo del Tonale - for an hour and a half. There are no skills needed for this activity, just your love for huskies and nature. After the walk, you’ll return to the kennels and give the dogs their food.
