VISIT JULIET’S BALCONY,
IN VErona

In Verona, you can find Juliet's balcony, yes, the same balcony in Shakespeare's play where Romeo professed his undying love for the young woman – which of course, resulted in tragedy by the end. Though Shakespeare may have never travelled to Verona, it is believed that Juliet once lived in that same building, hence the name 'La Casa di Giulietta'. The house itself was the former home of the 'Capello' family, which was the inspiration for the Capulet family in the play. Today, many tourists flock here in the hopes of finding true love by touching the Juliet statue’s breast.

GONDOLA AT SUNSET,
in venice

One of the most romantic experiences you can have in the city is stepping foot on one of the many gondolas that float through the canals of Venice. Just imagine riding a gondola during sunset, where the sky begins to shift with hues of yellows and oranges, along with the romantic, melodious singing of the gondolier. Venice is certainly one of the most romantic places you can travel to while in Northern Italy. While you’re there, we suggest you try their local specialty dish, ‘Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia’, also known as squid ink pasta.

VIEW THE ITALIAN ALPS,
IN NORTHERN ITALY

You can also take your loved one to the Italian Alps, a cascading mountain range that connects countries such as France, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Without a doubt, it is one of the most breathtaking views you could have while travelling to Italy. During February, you will be presented with snow-covered sceneries of mountains and forests of evergreens. Our Alpine Hotel is located here, and we have many couples who come to stay and enjoy the views of the mountains, and perhaps even try the sport of skiing themselves at the nearby Aprica Ski Resort.

WINE TASTING,
IN A VINEYARD

Ah, vino! While driving around Italy, you will likely encounter countless vineyards scattered across the rolling hills of the countryside. Why not try wine-tasting at an authentic Italian vineyard? Here, you can discover how your favourite glass of vino is made from harvesting to fermentation. Then later on, you can try out the different types of wines that the winery offers, allowing you to exercise your tasting palate. Once the day is over, you might even decide to take a bottle of Valtellina WIne back to your accommodation, for you and your special other to enjoy of course!
